Synopsis

London 1948 the well meaning but hopeless Leonard Vole suddenly finds himself accused of murder. When it transpires that his wife is the main witness for the prosecution, the trial takes more than one unexpected twist.

A brand new radio adaptation of a classic Agatha Christie short story by Bill Morrison. In a homage to the film classic, The Third Man, this production is set in the dark nether-world of post-war London. When a rich old lady is found dead, Leonard Vole becomes the prime suspect. And when it transpires that his wife is the main witness for the prosecution, the trial takes more than one unexpected twist
