Based on the actual accounts of two English Oxford academics,Miss Morison’s
Ghosts recounts the paranormal events experienced
by Charlotte Moberly and Eleanor Jourdain in the gardens of the Palace Of Versailles,
in France, one August afternoon in 1901.
The two women mysteriously find themselves back in time, witnessing scenes and
people from the era of Marie Antoinette and
the French Revolution. They decide to share their experience when they return
home, even though it endangers their attempts
to legitimise higher education for women in Edwardian England.
